we have an update to this story: the only people who appear to have made it into work this morning are me and the project managers lmao
The work party gave out free champagne on arrival and then gave us all SIX drink tickets which could be used on anything including cocktails and some of my coworkers still did a pre drink. I gave 5 of my tickets away because I don’t need my coworkers to see professor karen do the splits

Ok you’re all going to crap when I say: scheduled from 7-12 and it was passed apps and finger foods/fancy pizza and charcuterie and desserts, not a sit down

I have been at more of these types of parties but as long as someone who liked me was disbursing, I always got more and I would give those ones away and rack up the points with coworkers. A perfect system.
My job only ever hands out 2 tickets. If you’re still hanging out deep into the party sometimes they’ll slip you one or 2 more. 6 is diabolical!
