oh and uhh, we should stop calling it Ai. It's not artificial - nor intelligent. It's regurgitating what it thinks it wants you to hear based on language models. It's advanced predictive text lmfao

You’ve been kidnapped. The characters from the last TV show you watched are trying to rescue you. Who’s coming to save you?

I just want to apologize to Ryan Lizza. It’s true I did send erotic texts to his wife Olivia Nuzzi, but it was an accident. They were intended for my longtime fwb, the late Ruth Buzzi. Siri is a flawed product.

My new exercise hack is commuting to work on my e-bike (like I always do) then putting on workout clothes (not "bike" clothes) and riding 30-40 minutes on nearby multi-use paths with no e-assist.

Last week my "cyclist" co-worker told me he "still isn't OK with e-bikes" before launching into a tirade about a guy he clocked going 38 mph on a Lime e-scooter.

Today he told me how scared everyone he knows is of riding in certain areas because "homeless people." 🤔

I am once again asking white people to handle their Nuzzi/Lizza business in the privacy of their own pumpkin spiced brunch table and leave the rest of us the fuck alone with this poorly written bullshit

What perfect album came out the year you turned 16?

More than one good option for me, here are four candidates.

I don't mean to be insensitive but isn't taking a bullet in general kind of in his DNA? A birthright, if you will?
I regret to inform you that Olivia Nuzzi's book appears to be Perfect

insane, stupid, comically overwritten, dishy, politically indefensible I cannot wait to get my hands on it I must accept this is who I am as a person at some deep level whether I like it or not www.vanityfair.com/news/story/o...

When you leave in a car you’re thinking “what’s the fastest way to get there?”

When I leave on my bike I’m thinking “what’s the safest way to get there?”

We are not the same

Thinking about this more since yesterday. Three things stand out:
1. This helps explain why some organizations are so focused on meetings for matters that, logically, could be an email or a briefing paper.

Real question for anyone, @sarahjeong.bsky.social posted this article yesterday and it was the first I had ever heard of three cueing. Is there a way for adults who were taught to read this way as children to unlearn it?
How a flawed idea is teaching millions of kids to be poor readers
For decades, schools have taught children the strategies of struggling readers, using a theory about reading that cognitive scientists have repeatedly debunked. And many teachers and parents don't kno...
