With the newest PowerToys 0.95 from Microsoft, you can finally press the spacebar to QuickLook, or Peek as they call it, a file in Windows!

Peek with the Space bar

And we made fun of our other friends who were "dumb rowers": they would TT at the head of the bunch for most of the race, and then get passed by everyone on the last lap :)

It has always been a joke between me & my friends. We were rowers, a true time trial sport; even races in direct competition are TTs because everyone has their own lane for 6-8 minutes. When we started racing bikes, road races were the fun new thing with *tactics*!

However, do not move to St. Willebrord. It's better known nowadays for being the biggest Wilders stronghold in the Netherlands. Their remarkable voting record gets a separate paragraph on the Wikipedia page: "by far & away the largest percentage of all municipalities".

Today's #TourOfHolland stage is a 15 km ITT, le sigh. It's the first stage outside of Holland, in the province of North-Brabant. South-Brabant is Belgium. The stage town is Etten-Leur which has zero connection with cycling. Neighbouring St. Willebrord on the other hand, …!!!

over het onverharde pad langs het Nonnenland (ten oosten), wat als wandelaar daar zeer vervelend is. Voor fietsers is de Embranchementsweg een hel: veel te smal voor verkeer twee kanten op, en veel grote auto's die 60+ rijden.

Ja, Insinger de Beaufort woont daar nog steeds in de buurt en bezit veel grond, landgoed Pijnenburg. Vrij recent hebben ze bijvoorbeeld de Stulpselaan en Emilialaan bij de Biltseweg afgesloten voor alle fietsers. Ik wandel, maar fietste daar ook vaak. De meeste fietsers naar Lage Vuursche gaan nu>>

Na geruzie over toegankelijkheid buigt Raad van State zich nu over fietspaden landgoed Pijnenburg

In oktober moet er eindelijk een definitief antwoord komen: moeten de twee fietspaden over het Landgoed Pijnenburg openbaar toegankelijk worden of stond de eigenaar in zijn recht toen hij er hekken om...
