I think it’s safe to say that we all suspected this was the case. And unfortunately won’t be the least bit surprising when nothing comes from it.
I wrote about the fake account blowup on X this weekend. A genuine post-truth nightmare and proof that these companies have polluted their platforms so thoroughly and traded reality for profit that they've undermined the very idea of what the internet is supposed to be.

They “didn’t know they had the legal authority” to use the SNAP emergency funds and it may take until Wednesday to figure out the process. They tore down the East Wing overnight and will send their goon squads into cities and put people in camps with no problem…. but feed people? Don't be fooled.
