Our system failed us. The electoral college. The 25th Amendment. Impeachment failed us, twice. The Supreme Court. The DOJ. The media failed us. Our Constitution didn't fail us, it just requires honorable participants and now, we are about to lose that as well. That’s how erosion works on democracy.

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth displaying his calm, clear and effective leadership approach by immediately calling in 500 more National Guard troops in response to a situation that nobody knows anything about. I feel safer. Why not just nuke the shooter's hometown? I mean, once we know where that is.
