As someone who spent too many years desperately hoping for good x-ray diffraction, I absolutely love this.
Donate and subscribe to a lot more publications, journalists and authors. I'd never have time to read all of them, but knowing that they could continue doing their work more easily and bring it to a larger audience would bring me a lot of joy.

When I was a university student, a Christian kid in my Near Eastern Mythology class would pick fights with our professor, insisting that the Bible was literally true, wasting everybody else’s time on a regular basis.

I did a lot of world building for the setting of the first half of the story. I realized when I got to the second half that I hadn’t done nearly as much for the second half. Just need to unlock my brain at some point, I’m sure it’ll come. #weeknightwriters

I’m sorry but there is no leftist argument in favour of book piracy (even academic books: because in that case honestly a lot of academics will just send you the PDF if you ask, it might even be open access) while libraries exist. And using libraries is the way to keep them existing.

Definitely still learning mine. I need detailed enough outlines to keep me focused and give me a direction, but they're just a place to start. Outlining gives me enough freedom to write but not enough to get lost. The actual writing teaches me where the story really is. #weeknightwriters
