I have to tell you what really happened to the plums...

Elise New seems to have offered them to Woody Allen in exchange for his involvement with her edX MOOC.

One creepy slimey scammy thing after another in those files.

I think the path to that starts with acknowledging people’s disappointment isn’t just with this vote but with the party’s overall strategy over the last few years
The sooner we get past internal recriminations and back to fighting united, the better off we all are — the likelier our victory next November.

JFC. Does @schumer.senate.gov not get that by caving, Democrats make it *harder,* not easier, to make the ACA subsidies expiring stick politically to Trump/GOP? This effort to shame Republicans in this context risks signaling to low-info voters that Rs are standing on conviction and Dems aren't.

Brian Daboll has been fired as Giants head coach, source confirms.

Daboll’s firing was inevitable.

When he stepped to the podium Sunday after the game and said “It’s a shame he got hurt,” of Jaxson Dart’s concussion, he looked and sounded like a head coach who already knew his fate.

He is a computer safety researcher.

And he has written one of the most compelling, comprehensive accounts of the ongoing hell in Chicago that you could possibly imagine.

We can try to deflect, but the issue is not and cannot be that Republicans are evil if Democrats insist upon treating them as negotiating partners. Republicans can only take the blame when our leadership treats them as the problem.
We told them we’d suffer to get away from this regime, to give ourselves a chance to turn this around…and opposition leadership has said they won’t sacrifice anything to help.

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.

It’s because running as a Dem offers more options. You can build a brand as a champion for a cause before your heel turn. Being a republican doesn’t give you as much to work with.
There’s too many people lying and running as dems for political reasons.

Okay but there are two parts to that sentence, sure they want you to work together, but they want you to work together TO ADDRESS THE PROBLEMS! Not to fold and leave the problems unsolved!!!
