Okay I have like... twenty minutes but a lot of y'all noted the church on yesterday's house so, let's talk about deconsecration! I will end the thread with some fun church conversions currently for sale, as little a treat
I mainly wonder if there is a special procedure to deconsecrate a church. And what’s the advantage over just leaving it consecrated

Southwell minster looking handsome in the sunshine today. Never noticed the sort of wave form dentils (?) on the parapets. I'm assuming they're the same age as a lot of the quite fruity earlier norman/Romanesque relief patterns but could easily be wrong. I could also look it up, but.

The government has deliberately timed these disgusting roundups to coincide with the local elections, because they think you want this. Show them you don’t. By all means intervene or protest if you are able. And whatever else you do, turn up to vote against these absolute bastards.
