That said my holy grail event is exhibiting at Comiket as a circle with my brother (context: he lives in Tokyo and has exhibited at Comiket before). But like, I’m sure our Sibling Bond will make doing the biggest one in the world different lmao.

God bless everyone doing artist alley at NYCC right now. I don’t know how you guys deal with the crowds at those huge events. Like I started crying last year at TCAF because it got to be too much; I think I would straight up die at something like NYCC or AX lol.

I know it's a bit of a risk to have so many new faces/work that people may not be familiar with, but I want to use whatever platform I have to champion all kinds of artists, all kinds of approaches. I feel lucky to have a smart readership that gets that and shows their support.

TSA damaged my suitcase in the process of investigating why my comic stock looked funny on the x-ray 😑

Ann Arbor please buy my comics tomorrow so there is less opportunity for TSA to damage my suitcase further 🙏

More testing: same print on white paper, matte black card stock, and metallic black card stock. Big differences between different papers!

I have unfortunately experienced the same thing!!! Ironically we actually chose the NYFF screening assuming that the audience would be like, quiet respectful film buffs, and thus would avoid that scenario, but clearly we miscalculated.
