Also USPS didn't loss money because it doesn't make money because it's not a business and if never makes money to begin with.

It did however deliver over 112.5 billion pieces of mail in 2024 and that doesn't even include packages.
The USPS posting a NINE BILLION DOLLAR LOSS!!! sounds terrible. Certainly worse than if you said "USPS costs thirty dollars per person per year" even though that means the same thing and more accurately describes a government service

Bad framing: ACIP voted to scrap the universal hepatitis B vaccine recommendation for newborns.

Accurate framing: Anti-vax conspiracy theorists appointed to ACIP by Robert Kennedy Jr., who made a fortune as an anti-vax profiteer, voted to expose babies to a preventable, incurable, deadly illness.

I thought we'd got past Bogost games posting in 2016 or whatever. Definitely thought it'd been left behind on Twitter....alas.

I'm having a hard time imagining how Netflix owning WB can be any worse than Zaslav or Paramount owning WB. But I'm sure they are capable of coming up with some new and novel way to make things worse. Obviously the consolidation is an issue, but the stewardship of the history I think will be better.

Lieutenant Columbo is the perfect example of someone that archives a position at work that they both excel at and love, then they just stick there. No need to get promoted. More people should aspire to be a Columbo.

This is succinct and inarguable.
The attacks on trans rights, which are basic human rights, are a terrible injustice and an attack on truth and fact as well. Everyone should be deeply alarmed and it should be disqualifying for a politician to support such discrimination.

“the USPS must turn a profit” makes me want to set things on fire

they put a clause in the fucking constitution about postal service, that’s how important it is

nothing in there about “only if you can make money on it”
🚨SCOOP: Amazon is preparing to sever ties with USPS and expand its shipping network as a true coast-to-coast rival.

It could cost USPS more than *$6 billion* a year in lost revenue, and lead Amazon to dominate yet another facet of the economy.

USPS posted a *$9 billion* loss in 2025.

INBOX: The #MLS teams competing in the 2026 U.S. Open Cup:

Atlanta, Austin, Charlotte, Chicago, Colorado, #DCU, Houton, Minnesota, New England, NYCFC, NYRB, Orlando, San Jose, St. Louis, SKC
