Everyone should read this terrifying thread about Hegseth’s published views wrt war crimes. It’s pretty fucking radical …. We needed to hear about this in his confirmation hearing.
A chapter in Hegseth’s book is literally titled “More Lethality, Less Lawyers.”

It’s almost as if there were signs!

Thing is, we DID hear about it at his confirmation hearing.

Every single senator who voted to confirm Hegseth knew he held these views about the laws of war.

They voted to confirm him anyway.

A study by Dayforce shows 87% of executives use AI for work, compared to 57% of managers and just 27% of employees.

I think this explains the massive disconnect we see in how CEOs talk about AI versus everyone else. It also raises the question of how useful it truly is for frontline work?

A VP of Tech once submitted and assigned 200+ Jira cards to me that had been AI generated based on meeting notes. I closed ~80 of them as "won't do", consolidated half of the remaining and spent the next month outlining concrete deliverables for each. I believe these stats wholeheartedly.

We teach it really badly in schools, partially because teachers were taught it badly themselves and often have a pretty bad grasp on it. Grammar is messy and complex like everything about language but it's very useful to know the basics of how to talk about it, especially if you want to write well.
Really is a sick joke that learning a second language is the best way to learn English grammar.

"We have only just begun to pardon narco-terrorists"
I’d really love someone to explain to me how the admin’s Latin America policy is consistent regarding narcotrafficking.

(Please don’t reply to this saying it’s consistent because he supports right-wingers. That’s not what I’m asking!) open.substack.com/pub/dropsite...

Trump intends to pardon him.
