Meanwhile I just read about @lexblog.bsky.social saving decades of (artisanally human crafted*) legal blogs on Typepad

*Okay some of them were just jotted off not really crafted, but lots of cumulative time and care went into that archive

“A Little Life” would be better if run through AI with prompt “take all the decisions here both plot and stylistic, and do the opposite”

Generative AI output = neither a “source” nor “data“ 🤔 I know it can be useful and certainly is important, but when it produces text that fits neither of these buckets yet is commonly perceived as both, trouble ensues
jennifermromig.bsky.social
Would you say prompts could constitute data, in that they are inputs that can be tested … although my understanding is AI outputs can’t really be replicated individually; I guess outputs from given prompt “data” could be sort of agglomerated with a margin of error for the input-output relationship

Seriously, Judges *do no do things like this*

They don't give their opinion to the media

They don't criticize how SCOTUS works

This is them breaking the emergency glass, folks

"That is, in fact, not what happened to Ophelia."
A personal gripe I have is that the first song on the album (which seems like it's meant to be the lead single), "The Fate of Ophelia," does not seem to have any understanding of Hamlet. Swift admitted in a BBC radio interview with Greg James that she "didn't really need to reread [Hamlet]. I wanted to sprinkle some references in the bridge, so like the the bridge references kind of some paraphrasing of some lines from Hamlet, so I did like do a little brushup. But I just love the idea that like, You saved me from love driving me mad, right?
'Cause that's what happened to Ophelia. Spoiler alert."
