Let me know when you've flipped that to a hard DONE 😜
The very definition of fun.
Sasuke's been available for years on both LD & DVD, however, I'm personally glad I slept on it until now. The impact it has here given the dual audio hi-def presentation is remarkable, and an absolute steal at $60. Belongs next to your copy of Chargeman Ken.
"Did they just..?" Yes, yes they did. And they'll do it again, or something worse :)
As Mike Toole often says: "Oh wait...there's more". Sasuke ropes you in by consistently one upping itself. NOTHING on four legs in this show is safe, and the casual nature it takes in dealing w/ topics like...idk, kidnapping, child endangerment, and slavery are truly unique. Total shock & awe.
Group watch material to the fullest extent.
Can't imagine it was the show's original intent, but for anyone fond of "Anime Hell" convention showings, it's precisely *that*, spanned across 3 discs, running 792 minutes. I live for this stuff.
For anyone who has been around for while, the included dub (of somewhat mysterious origin) gives the show a feeling of something we would have discovered on a late night/early morning cartoon Network programming block in the early '00s, sitting around, bullshitting w/ friends.
Sasuke's notorious exploding puppy meme only scratches the surface of AnimEigo's surprisingly engrossing Blu-ray release. Looks sharp, sounds fantastic, and moves at a pace that'll keep you saying "Okay, just *one* more...for reals this time". www.mediaocd.com/product-page...
Can't spell Crunchyroll without two massive Ls. Your Dirty Pair commentary on the other hand? Winning.
All of this. All of it. Nothing unreasonable said here in the slightest, and nothing to be ashamed of if *you* backed this project, and are (or have been) feeling similarly. Crunchyroll couldn't be bothered to make things right even after softly admitting to dropping the ball. Speaks volumes.
I think what's so frustrating about the Dirty Pair issues for me isn't the mistakes themselves because hey, they happen. Lord knows I've had mistakes slip through before, and things like the disc art switch might not be CR's direct fault, although they should have checked the discs before shipping.
JP -> English. Would like to support someone who could use the work, and not simply smooth over an automated rough.
Our local Aladdin's Castle had a Final Furlong machine briefly. As much fun to watch as it is to play, maybe more...
.online is fine. Site feels off.
Arranging for the .ldf to be uploaded...
