Interesting...Had two distinct "orders", with unique tracking info for each.

The tracking #s were posted in my old RightStuf order archive.

Time to go full speed ahead w/ the Idris Elba casting fantasy, and not say a damn thing about it on screen.

Go on...

Can neither confirm nor deny either of those.

If a similar restoration can be arranged for the classic "Intermission Time" clock w/ the backflipping hot dogs, I'll be all over it.

Reason being, the Columbia Video dub mix lacks any of the noticeable channel separation of the JP stereo mix. With the film being made up of many musical sections, I was curious to see if those parts could be remixed into true stereo using the LD audio or IRUKA's vinyl LP. So far, the answer is yes.

Utilized stemming software to isolate the original Japanese instrumental backing, and the English lyrics. Tweaked the tempo on the English side of things to be in perfect phase w/ the JP instrumental, and added a touch of reverb & overall clarity to both. Worked better than I'd anticipated.

Performed a little experiment on what is essentially the primary musical theme for the dub:

Feels like a situation where reaching out to any surviving people credited for the adaptation could *possibly* yield some results.

Decent scan of the sleeve. Had to repair a large section that appeared to be chomped out of the upper back. Curiously, there are very few details about the cast. Nothing on the sleeve, and nothing in the brief closing credits. ANN doesn't have any info either.

The very definition of fun.

Sasuke's been available for years on both LD & DVD, however, I'm personally glad I slept on it until now. The impact it has here given the dual audio hi-def presentation is remarkable, and an absolute steal at $60. Belongs next to your copy of Chargeman Ken.

"Did they just..?" Yes, yes they did. And they'll do it again, or something worse :)

As Mike Toole often says: "Oh wait...there's more". Sasuke ropes you in by consistently one upping itself. NOTHING on four legs in this show is safe, and the casual nature it takes in dealing w/ topics like...idk, kidnapping, child endangerment, and slavery are truly unique. Total shock & awe.

Group watch material to the fullest extent.

Can't imagine it was the show's original intent, but for anyone fond of "Anime Hell" convention showings, it's precisely *that*, spanned across 3 discs, running 792 minutes. I live for this stuff.
