I am sad to learn of the passing of Marc Garneau. He was a man of tremendous accomplishments, from outer space to the House of Commons. I was honoured to have served alongside him in Parliament. He was a great Canadian, we will miss him. My condolences to his family and loved ones.

Look at this man’s face. He’s a “regular” man. Not listed as a criminal. Just a man who somehow “offended” the rulers. Whose life ended in terror and misery. A regular human. These photos and sooo brief histories are my daily reminder of how profoundly life could change for all of us now.
