In a Chicago suburb, Berwyn, IL, multiple ICE goons and a cameraman surrounded a resident who blew his horn and walked down the street in his own neighborhood. They demanded his ID and threatened to arrest him for impeding their audit.

I lived in Cuba 3 years while conducting research. This is exactly the strategy employed by the authoritarian government there: Dear Leader makes a speech and the next day at work a meeting is called and the supervisor quizzes employees on their recall of the message.

Cville- Lisa Torres is unequivocally the School Board member who has one of my three votes. It’s not even close. Lisa listens, deeply cares, asks questions on all sides of an issue, & ensures well-rounded policy. She works for our community, not her own aggrandizement.

Trump doesn’t like the photo lol

Trump: Time Magazine wrote a relatively good story about me, but the picture may be the Worst of All Time. They "disappeared" my hair, and then had something floating on top of my head that looked like a floating crown, but an extremely small one.
Really weird! I never liked taking pictures from underneath angles, but this is a super bad picture, and deserves to be called out. What are they doing, and why?

one response to this (correct) observation is to say “well, the cops will attack you no matter how you dress and behave.” that’s right. images of cops and ICE beating grandmas and kids in inflatable frog costumes is a win for the opposition.

one of the reasons they're so mad at "no kings" is that they thought they were going to get a different kind of protest. they *want* the black bloc to be out there fighting with the cops. those are the images they've been trying to generate from "go." instead--
