ICE and DHS are separating young children from their parents and disappearing them.
6 year old Yuanxin was separated from his father after a routine immigration check in on Nov. 26th.

Thanksgiving talk this year was humbling… my 6-yr old grand-nephew (i.e., my nephew’s son in 1st grade) explained to me how to add 9+3, using the conceptual techniques of common core math standards. The good news is that, unlike his confused mom, I don’t have to help him with his homework. 😉
