Because. It’s. A. Fucking. REGIME

Chris: you make a decent point, but I, for one, side with the Universities. They have been put into untenable positions by Trump to negotiate and take harsh penalties in order to continue critical research, student support, academic freedom, and supporting the excellent Univ system in the US.
The legal, media, and academic institutions capitulating to an authoritarian ordering payments for favorable treatment are damning themselves to irrelevance. They are destroying their institutions. They will be — and should be — shunned for failing in their most basic purposes for existing.
BREAKING: Northwestern University has agreed to pay the U.S. Treasury $75 million, over the course of three years as part of an agreement with the federal government to restore funding and end investigations into the university

Well worth your time, four minutes maybe, to read what two GOP members said about Trump'screed over the last few days. Embarrassing to us all.

Gov Walz is saying what we’ve been saying. If the president is this erratic, then the public deserves to know what is going on. Four simple words: show the MRI results.

If Trump is fine, prove it. If he isn’t, step aside.

There must be immediate Congressional investigations into Pete Hegseth’s ordering the killings of strike survivors and over 80 people in international waters. Where is my opponent Rep. Ann Wagner? Bible verses and banking regulations aren’t going to save you. Do your job or resign! @wellmanformo

Since Johnson won his gavel 2 years ago, lawmakers have used a discharge petition to circumvent Johnson’s wishes on 5 separate occasions — more successful attempts than in the last 30 years. More discharge petitions have succeeded in the past 2 years than the prior 3 decades combined.

(Axios) Hard to believe how stupid Trump really is. He can't even do simple arithmetic to get an accurate comparison. Keep living in your own Dream World, DonOLD. Pretty soon, no dreams; dementia will take over.

(Meidas) "Kelly Loeffler, running the Small Business Admin, responded to legitimate concerns about a decline in small business optimism by blaming Biden. She offered no solutions. She deflected responsibility, as this ADMIN does on every issue, e.g. inflation, crime, & foreign interference.

(Meidas) Multiple outlets, e.g. The Telegraph, reported that Trump sent his envoys to Moscow with proposal to recognize Russian control over Eastern Ukrainian territory. Steve Witkoff was dispatched alongside Jared Kushner to signal to Putin that “Putin’s war gains belong to Russia.” TRUMP=CRIMINAL.

(The Atlantic) Marvelous article about the Ukraine stance on ceding land to Russia as part of the peace treaty: NO, NO, NO. So proud of Zelensky and Ukraine. Now for the EU and TRUMP to back him up. The World is watching and counting on YOU to back Ukraine.

(CNBC) Sadly, we can always count on Trump to overreact to a heinous shooting when anyone other than a white male US citizen MAGA is involved. For a country like ours, BUILT by immigrants over hundreds of years. His racism and ignorance know no bounds.

So, CONTINUE to write letters, make phone calls, PROTEST! Cannot stop.

Sadly, GOP, your fearless leader, has left our planet. Please make time to read this missive from your leader, DJT, and evaluate if anyone is really home. I am very worried about him. He does seem to be slipping away into incoherence. The 25th Amendment is there for your use. Good luck.

Sadly, Trump is completely simple (yes, his brain and thinking but another thing.) Watch his "paragraphs" when he talks or writes....it is ALWAYS about him. The kind of person when you bring up A, B, C, D, or E....he answers with a sentence or paragraph about himself. It is that simple.
Continually amazed that someone who's been in public life as long as Trump has lacks the capacity to say anything appropriate when someone has died.
Q: Do you plan to attend Sarah's funeral?

TRUMP: I haven't thought about it yet, but it's certainly something I can conceive of. I love West Virginia. You know, I won West Virginia by one of the biggest margins of any president anywhere.
