Rick Wilson said that when he was a GOP consultant and they did things that they knew were over the line they really did assume/believe the Dems were ahead doing those things. Now that he’s out of the business and making Dem friends he’s realized the GOP was high on its own supply.

It's not internationally true though. Last week, one of the major candidates for the Irish Presidential election was forced to drop out after it was revealed that he had ripped off a former tenant that he had rented a house to. For some reason, American voters are very tolerant of fraud and abuse.
