It's finally time to announce the next stage of the project I'm working on - gathering resources.

I'm building out a resource-oriented website with another activist. I'm putting out a call for resources - details are in the introduction of the form if needed.

THIS.

There are so many needs right now - likely including folks on your block!

Check in with your neighbors, plug into local efforts.

Do something.
Get mad, but use it. Sitting and reading more things to make you more mad is just going to hurt.

“MPD immediately responded and confirmed there was no one being assaulted and no life-safety conditions that warranted further involvement,” Parten said.”

Then why did you assist & create a pathway for ICE to kidnap our neighbors? I saw it with my own eyes and so did the community.

Strongly suggesting people read this and act.
The police aren't on our side, folks. I hate to keep beating this drum, my point isn't to just go and give up or to be a doomer.

It's that we the people get this done, the system isn't stepping up for us.

If you're not sure how to get involved or know someone like that, give them a flyer.

Swapping license plates on cars is illegal, but the SPPD, State Patrol, and MPD are refusing to do anything about it when it’s government agents and not regular people. Collusion is not an illusion.

Mpls & everywhere, may be good to encourage/ pressure private biz & corporations to develop & enforce things like prohibitive policies around staging in parking lots

• Like Minneapolis did with Target recently
• McDonald's might be a good one

We've done big things with Target boycotts. Keep it up!
MINNEAPOLIS:
This week is already intense.
Abductions continue daily.
Community continues to mobilize, monitor, interrupt and organize against these masked gestapo invaders.
So many ways to get involved - Do you need help connecting with a group in your area? My DMs are open!
All hands on deck.

Let’s not forget Brian O’Hara’s Very Serious Boy pressers where he told us all to call MPD when ICE comes.

Now none of us who have been here have done that because it’s insane, but if you thought it was a good idea, do you see now why it is not??
Disheartening to see federal agents take two neighbors on 29th & Pillsbury. Chemical irritants were used on observers by them.

MPD showed up on scene, created a pathway for these federal agents to kidnap our neighbors, and assisted with controlling the space. Disappointing and heartbreaking.

It’s day 14 of the ICE occupation of the Twin Cities.

Today’s assignments:
1. Continue to organize with your neighbors

2. Spend some money at an immigrant owned business, if you can.

3. Remember we’re in this for the long haul. This is our community, and these are our neighbors.

We're out here busting our butts, and he's sitting on his.
ICE is here. They’re invading our state, kidnapping our neighbors, and brutalizing Minnesotans.

We need our leaders to lead, through words AND action. Tim Walz, where are you?

The time has come to step up or step aside. They’re already escalating - what are you afraid of?

I’m thinking about our unhoused neighbors who have been facing below freezing temperatures. It’s a fact that there are barely enough shelters available for our neighbors who continue to be kicked out from block to block. They have also been turned away from a lack of shelter capacity. 1/

If you or someone you know is vulnerable to ICE, they should take these steps with their phone.

The long version is, these steps can help minimize how easy it is for you to be tracked on your phone. Not impossible, but harder.

Yes, it's worth it, even if your data is 'already out there'.

Likewise for folks far away. So this collection of stories and links aims to share a small part of the story.
