It's finally time to announce the next stage of the project I'm working on - gathering resources.

I'm building out a resource-oriented website with another activist. I'm putting out a call for resources - details are in the introduction of the form if needed.

The police aren't on our side, folks. I hate to keep beating this drum, my point isn't to just go and give up or to be a doomer.

It's that we the people get this done, the system isn't stepping up for us.

If you're not sure how to get involved or know someone like that, give them a flyer.

If you're looking for a fast way to inform your neighbors about what's going on and how to get involved, print this double-sided flyer. Compiled from community feedback & local resources, intended for the entire twin cities. Feel free to customize.

We're out here busting our butts, and he's sitting on his.
ICE is here. They’re invading our state, kidnapping our neighbors, and brutalizing Minnesotans.

We need our leaders to lead, through words AND action. Tim Walz, where are you?

The time has come to step up or step aside. They’re already escalating - what are you afraid of?

I’m thinking about our unhoused neighbors who have been facing below freezing temperatures. It’s a fact that there are barely enough shelters available for our neighbors who continue to be kicked out from block to block. They have also been turned away from a lack of shelter capacity. 1/

If you or someone you know is vulnerable to ICE, they should take these steps with their phone.

The long version is, these steps can help minimize how easy it is for you to be tracked on your phone. Not impossible, but harder.

Yes, it's worth it, even if your data is 'already out there'.
How to Make Your Phone (Nearly) Impossible to Track
The more we use our phones, the more personal info we give up. Experts explain how to make your phone impossible to track, or close to it.

Creating a thread of egregious ICE actions in the Twin Cities over the last 12 days.

For those who aren't plugged into what's going on - it can feel remote and "not so bad."

Likewise for folks far away. So this collection of stories and links aims to share a small part of the story.

Pepper spray is basically the first thing they do. They're also making very fast moves physically &/ with cars.

One of our Shakopee observers witnessed ICE pepper spray a baby today in Chanhassen.

(Yes. You read that right.)

The agent knew the baby was there. ICE does not make our communities safer. End Operation Metro Surge NOW!

I’m just going to say it. I hate operational security some days. I loathe it. Yes, it’s needed, but hot damn.

I'm always curious if the folks against municipal sidewalk plowing are concerned about the massive expense of street plowing that we take on each year (largely w/o comment).

If we need to focus on saving $, perhaps they'd like to see volunteers & property owners clear our streets, too?

This morning, ICE surrounded a construction site with Latino workers in this dangerously cold weather. One worker had to leave in an ambulance because they were forced to stay on the roof of the construction site as ICE attempted to kidnap them. 1/
