sadly the people with power in the party know this is true, they just wish it wasn't. if they can't win by running to the center they'll just lose, cross their arms & wait four years
i think something democrats need to understand is that starting with the 2008 election, every presidential winner has more convincingly promised change from the status quo more than their opponent

I want to help calm everyone down with my first post.
I have it on good authority that a President, even when his party controls the Senate, can't even raise the minimum wage to 15 dollars if the Senate Parliamentarian says no.
Everybody can just relax.
