Excellent peak behind the curtain about who shows up on the news a lot.

Thanks for sharing @rachelgilmore.bsky.social !
Have you ever watched a 24-hour news channel and wondered to yourself…how the hell did that person get on air?

Well, I can tell you how that happens.

It gives me some serious concerns about our information ecosystem:

A while ago, stupidly drove to a book event, gave up out of frustration after looking for parking for nearly an hour. So for tonight’s book thing, took transit!… and got stuck on a streetcar for 25 minutes and missed the event. Toronto: The city designed to sap your will to live™️

Has any ideology more quickly and comprehensively abandoned its ostensible principles than Libertarianism? Virtually every libertarian I know has gone full, devoted MAGA. Just totally rolled over for fascism instantly.

(I know the REAL principles have always been "I get to be selfish" lol)

The Bikelane and sidewalks on Woodbine heading south are now clear! It kept me up all night but that's okay because now it won't be a slog to take my daughter out in her stroller. Also now delivery bikes can get around safely! Thanks to the city staff sucking up all the snow last night!

Britain has dethroned a prince, forced Mandelson to resign, & lost confidence in Starmer because Rep. Thomas Massie & I forced the release of the Epstein files.

What is America doing to hold the Epstein class accountable?

We need to haul these powerful men before Congress.

While reporting this, I had something happen that's never happened. A comms rep for one of the co's disputed my reporting and said what I was telling them was untrue because it was not in Grok, xAI's chatbot.

I was looking directly at the files. And this person was using AI to challenge the truth.
Epstein had many known connections to Silicon Valley CEOs, but less known was how he made money from those relationships.

We did a deep dive into how he got dealflow in Silicon Valley, giving him shots to invest in Coinbase, Palantir, SpaceX and other companies.

Want to cross the street to go to woodbine park from the lake? Goodluck, the snow plows thought it was a great idea to place a snow bank on the sidewalk so high that you can't get to the crossing button. Have fun crossing the highway without a signal. What are sidewalks anyways?
