I’ve be seeing the Odell comments and see a lot “financial literacy” and I want to say this is becoming a low hanging fruit point. Never in the history of professional athletes has there been more access to financial information, resources and there is no place where that’s more plentiful than NYC.

Sometimes I wonder about how the White folks process still having their jobs. I've been reading a lot about McCarthyism, which has my brain primed to think about the people who stay once people politically repress their colleague out of a job.

And this is exactly what I'm getting at! Black people and POC have always known to migrate to where the work is at, and in this particular sense, if that means television is where the work is at, then that is where we will go and do well! BUT...
Absolutely! There should be 100 more Cooglers with the resources to create films showing the complexity and beauty of our experiences.

I wish this video said who the artist is.

It reminds me of Bisa Butler (using textiles), but this doesn't look like her work

I agree with you on film tho they deserve BOTH. Some of their work is on top shows; I don’t see TV as “below” film in the ‘prestige’ age. SKB is lead on Paradise with a strong first season and Emmy nom. Nicole Beharie does brilliant work on The Morning Show. Yahya Mateen was a genius on Watchmen.
Sterling K Brown, Aaron Pierre, Taylor Paige, Idris Elba, Chris Chalk, Jovan Adepo, Dominique Fishback, Yahya Mateen, Nicole Beharie, interesting such stellar talents have been relegated to TV despite showing immense talent on the big screen.

Lmaoooooo I thought I was tripping. They're all very fine don't get me wrong, but that many people in one gym would overstimulate me. It's packed like handsome sardines in there. All I can think is how many times I'd have to say sorry or excuse me for bumping into someone 😂
If anything that's keeping my fat ass away from the gym. 😭

Why so many niggas here? 😭😭

Saw this video of a woman talking about ppl around her calling her “mean” because she’s grieving death of her brother; reminded me how after my mom passed a month after I graduated college, ppl at training for a new job were bullying me for not being “extroverted.” Jobs be packed with devils.

Columbine*

If the adults in charge had done what needed to be done when Columbine happened, we would've never had a Sandy Hook to begin with.

Those of us who were children when Columbine happened, were full grown adults by the time Sandy Hook happened.
-Sandy Hook should have ended children being slaughtered in schools, instead Republicans rallied to defend guns.

-Jan. 6, 2021 should have ended Trump, instead Republicans rallied to defend treason.

-The Epstein Files should end rich men's lust for rape, instead Republicans rally to defend scum.

The Colorado DOC punished him with bouts of solitary confinement.
Forced Labor Continues in Colorado, Years After Vote to End Prison Slavery
Coloradans voted in 2018 to amend their state constitution to ban forced labor in prison. Years later, incarcerated people are still being punished for refusing work assignments.

Why is the supremacy amongst many other things - based in a simple belief that if white people are doing just about anything they are doing it superiorly, whether that's just plain existing , or some sort of craft, their superiority is inherent and it is constantly reaffirmed.
