Municipalities really should require permits/licenses for short-term rentals
An apartment building that used to have 4-6 units converted into a weird single dwelling that's clearly designed to be used as a short-term rental in one of the 5 most expensive metro-area real estate markets in the US.

I also like having the first floor be strictly for guests and everything upstairs being not for guests (unless they're staying over). Which is why I'm gonna put a bathroom on the main floor.
