You get passionate employees by paying them well and rewarding them often. Someone who isn't your employee yet has no reason to be enthusiastic about your mission.

Why do recruiters think that people coming in from outside the company will already be passionate about the brand and their mission?

In the labor marketplace, workers are trading their time and effort for money, not passion and enthusiasm for getting some faceless CEO a 4th yacht

I went into the procedure telling my surgeon that I didn't want any of the hard painkillers and he put his hand gently on my shoulder, pointed at the xrays and said, "You're going to want them" 😭

He did give me clove oil/eugenol for the socket though.

I got all four removed at once. The top two came out whole and I got to keep them as souvenirs. My bottom two were completely impacted and sitting sideways at the gumline so they got taken out in pieces.

I didn't listen to the advice on not smoking and got dry socket. Be better than me!
