I feel like while the GOP has for sure become more tolerant of open racism, there's something to the theory that there was more going on with the Lott resignation and the comments about Thurmond were a pretext for why/how he was really pushed out.

So apparently there are many Epstein files on the DOJ website where you can highlight the redacted text, copy it, and paste it onto another document to read the redactions

Anyway, curious what possible rationale the DOJ could have for redacting those sections saying that Epstein paid off witnesses to their "criminal sex trafficking and abuse conduct," threatened harm, to "release damaging stories about them," and telling them to "destroy evidence."
Ok. Now had a chance to check and, well, at least some docs do appear to be straight up classic redaction fail. And there are some *interesting* bits here.

Found the actual men in women's bathrooms assaulting women.
ICE agents illegally break into a woman's bathroom in a NY nutrition bar manufacturing plant. "Pull up your pants," says a male agent. The agents only had a warrant to review employer documents. They didn't have a warrant to search for, detain, or arrest anyone there.
