I made a claude code statusline that updates Ghostty's progress bar (that blue line at the top) as you fill up context.
I know there's a lot of these out there, but this one uses starship directly for rendering, which was somewhat rare when I looked.

When half the websites I visited wouldn't load this morning, I figured I'd check downdetector (https://downdetector.com) to see if Cloudflare was down, but I couldn't. Because Cloudflare was down.
Distributed systems sound great, but the way the industry rushed to crown a handful of winners like AWS and Cloudflare had the net effect of merely increasing the number of single points of failure in the chain.

A cruel irony of coding agents is that everyone who blew off automated testing for the past 20 years is now telling the AI to do TDD all the time.
But because LLMs were trained on decades of their shitty tests, the agents are also terrible at testing.

In just the past week or so, Russia has bombed a US factory in Ukraine, bombed an EU office in Ukraine, and jammed the navigation system on a plane carrying the EU president, forcing the pilots to land using paper maps.
