I had this very conversation yesterday. I also find especially with analogue formats that a conscious opt-in and effort to consume art immediately makes it more important to me. So very easy to click an AI or publisher manipulated playlist and have it auto play, but it lacks some joy tbh.

Been mentally developing a dynamic pricing model for tourists visiting the British Museum, based on how many artifacts in the collection are from their country. Undecided on whether they should pay less if there’s a lot or really lean into that British Museum ethos and charge more.

I really love Halo: Combat Evolved and love any excuse to replay Halo: Combat Evolved but I’m not going to lie, putting out another remake and rerelease of Halo: Combat Evolved feels like the most “we don’t know what to do with Halo anymore, hit the emergency button” decision one could make
