When you're having a rough day it's totally okay to buy multiple pizzas from Little Caesars while using coupon code SCORE to get buy one get one free Crazy Bread (on the app)
It's also fine to have a good cry with the employees when you pick them up!

I think the basic problem with all these low-effort horror movie adaptations of recently-public-domain cartoon characters is they always make the titular character the monster. Like, nobody gives a shit about a film where Mickey Mouse is a zombie; they want to see Mickey Mouse FIGHT the zombies!

Imagine living your life in constant fear of anything not being white men. Sounds exhausting and pathetic.

I suppose it's more aggravating than detrimental, and maybe if art is expression, then being a bit aggravated at something is-

Waaaaaitaminit, how am I gonna express that frustration in a way that reads as genuine?

It's a slop paradox!

Fuck.

This, I fear, is the effects of radiation from AI. The badness of the direct results *might*, under ideal circumstances, be a matter of "fine, whatever, you like what you like".

But now human artists are having their human art accused of sloppery by dim cranks with more attention than palate.

TWICE this week my writing's been accused of using ChatGPT. Naturally, by people who blurt "TL;DR" at anything longer than a paragraph.

I feel like a baker whose wedding cake has an overconfident moron standing over it yelling "It's a pile of Twinkies!" - & they weren't even invited to the wedding!

For months we followed what happened when a company forced AI into the world of craft beer. Legal threats, people quitting, and beer judges in revolt over being told to use AI.

What Happened When AI Came for Craft Beer
A prominent beer competition introduced an AI-judging tool without warning. The judges and some members of the wider brewing industry were pissed.

you can tell that OpenGL is a better religion than Christianity, because OpenGL has a SuperBible, while Christianity only has a normal bible
