3 years ago today, Riot Games offered me a job making more money than I ever thought I’d make in my life. I had 19 interviews over 2.5 months to get it. Partner and I were moving to LA for it. I put in notice at my job and apartment.

The best way journalists can support indie games is to cover more than whatever the current indie hits/darlings of the moment are. Games like Hades, Blue Prince, and Silksong do not need help with visibility, but discoverability is the biggest challenge facing many indie devs today.

Y'know, I'd ask people to back me up when I say there's something to Thanatos 3D that's oddly compelling for being so limited on a technical level, but that'd require there to be a chance above .01% that anybody else on BlueSky had played Thanatos 3D, or even heard of it before hearing of it from me

It's not garbage food or forgotten orders, it's always fresh same-day food.
Most of the restaurants in my area make extra specifically for TGTG, and add coupons on full priced orders.
It's a great resource, and it cuts down on food waste.
