Yeah, I see all the gushing from his and other channels about Bambu Lab printers, and I get this for the self-confessed 'Apple of 3D printers'. They're slick and work well, as long as you stick to the limits set by Bambu.

Just don't ask questions or demand to plug it into an Ethernet switch.

Oh wow, Bambu Lab is really shafting people with the new P2S.

Only an 8 GB eMMC? And slow WiFi while omitting Ethernet completely again?

What masochist would voluntarily buy trash like this?

STING proves its effectiveness once again 💪

As you can see, the opponents are in completely different weight categories — and that’s exactly why our interceptor drone wins.

Light, fast, and highly maneuverable, STING can take down much larger enemy targets with precision.

I'm so glad that the YouTube Redux extension nukes all 'AI' malfeatures on YT. Don't need that 'AI summary' either.

Yeah, I don't get the big fuss about Win10 updates ceasing. To me it's more of a blessing. So many broken 'updates' over the years, and Win11 updates so far have been noticeably worse.

Using Win10 with WU disabled seems like a pretty safe option, TBH.

That's likely how the faux AI bubble will pop, I guess. Easy VC cash running out, subscriptions becoming mandatory and increasingly more expensive, users fleeing the platforms, cash flow staying negative until *pop~*.

How many people will pay $100+/month for ChatGPT if Google is free?

These people vote. These people inflict their ignorance upon all of us. These people are why the world is the way it is today.

Cognitive bias is one heck of a design flaw, NGL.

If anyone else has the 'new & irreparably improved' YouTube player UI forced on them... there's a user style to fix that:

I think that's generally due to the translation of 'ojisan', which can mean uncle or middle-aged man. Not sure why it gets translated to 'old man' so much :)

Tried my 🐾 today at making something Mac and cheese-like to honour the memory of a great feline friend.

It was Red's favourite dish, though he mostly licked the sauce off the pasta.

I made this EU version with farfalle, bechamel sauce and fresh cherry tomatoes. I'm sure Red would have liked it.

OTD in 1906 Hannah Arendt was born.

One just has to look at Russia exploding its replacement for the Ukrainian-designed & manufactured ICBM in its silo to get an idea of how much better Ukraine would have been at managing a nuclear arsenal.

Kharkiv etc. were crucial for the Soviet Union's military dominance.

I'll accept having YT Redux having a few glitches now and then over having to deal with whatever YT throws at you natively, but that's a personal preference :)

For me 6 videos/row is essential, as is cutting out all the empty space, the 'AI summary' and other trash. Redux handles that fine.
