It’s John Sheridan’s birthday today. You remember him.

Midfielder. Playmaker. And scorer of one of the sauciest set pieces you could ever wish to see.

Jesus Christ this graph. Total and utter political failure.
In a more serious country, unilaterally withdrawing from the JCPOA would have immediately ended Trump's first presidency & destroyed the GOP's reputation on national security policy for a generation 🧐

It drives me nuts. The Telegraph, Mail, Sun etc and the politicians they sponsor like Johnson, Farage, Cameron & Truss got everything they wanted for fourteen of the last fifteen years & only now, with Labour in power for *less than one*, do they acknowledge the damage they have done. It’s sick.

I wondered for a while why Trump was so excited by Brexit, even to the point of getting Farage to fluff him. It was simple, really: proof that, with the support of enough bent media, bad people selling bigotry & lies really could persuade people to vote to punch themselves in the face forever.

The Trump Administration Accidentally Texted Me Its War Plans
U.S. national-security leaders included me in a group chat about upcoming military strikes in Yemen. I didn’t think it could be real. Then the bombs started falling.

Dig through this timeline and you'll figure out what I'm here to do. I spoke to a commercial leader in the offensive security space last year. My words: you're fucking it up.

What I didn't say: I feel compelled, even though I DON'T want the bullshit, to try and fix it.

What does all of this mean?
