You may have missed this gem yesterday. From which we learn that:
1. Betting shops are really good for the mental health of isolated people.
2. Most drug-takers are not a problem.
3. Kids put tuppence in slot machines in the hope of getting rich.
4. Farage probably has a gambling industry donor.

@spsblue.bsky.social How do you think Green voters can be encouraged to be aware of their own numbers, so that they don't feel they are the only one? Polls help people feel the numbers are there but you'd need to a) collect the polls and b) get the results back out. Does Bluesky do polls? Ideas?

He's "campaiging to protect Pendle's care homes".
No one seems to have told him that Lancashire’s Reform-run council plans to close their care homes and day centres:

Everything on our news agenda is being driven by a corrupted disinformation machine, run by a billionaire who sponsors Tommy Robinson and who keeps trying to foment civil war in the UK.
And incredibly our MPs & news providers stay there.
THAT is the problem. Not some bad editing choice on the BBC.

In Kherson, Angelina Jolie visited the Regional Children's Clinical Hospital.
I know it's been days, yet I still can't get over her going to one of the most dangerous places instead of Kyiv, like everyone does. Amazing.

When the lights went out for the second time, President Zelenskyy said, "See? That’s life," & suggested continuing the interview without interpretation headsets, which also didn’t work without electricity⤵️

Went to preorder the TOR White Wizard book
Noticed the 10% discount forms pending a bit more.
Added the Elven Rings book I decided not to get
Wasn't quite enough
Added the GN screen and Rivendell book
Took a good hard look at myself and 3 books that wouldn't get played
Closed my browser

I just had my first online session of White Box Fantasy Medieval Adventure Game using Discord for voice and Roll20 for the VTT.
It was really good! A good balanced party - fighter, cleric, thief - and a straightforward inn/rumours/tomb quest.
It was like 1980s D&D all over again. With internet.

So in a weekend played 1 run 5(?) games. 4 games today. Success!

The BBC should serve as an example to all that there is nothing you can give the far rabid right that will satisfy it.
It has simpered, pandered, soft-balled and fluff-jobbed, both-sidesed and debased itself into being a platform for liars to look down the camera and lie on, & it still gets fucked.

It then created the document with the table with the three necessary cells.
Brilliant!
Oh. Except...
The question text wasn't the same as from the original document.
IT HAD MADE UP ITS OWN QUESTIONS

Tesla's 125,000 workers are paid $40,000 each average, $5bn a year.
He is paid 20x as much as every single worker at Tesla.
They could be paid $840,000 each instead.

Sandwich guy was asked when he could give an interview about his ordeal.
He answered, "Lettuce meat tomato."
Asked what his initial reaction was, he said: I was bread for this moment. These were cheesy charges, and I'm just glad to be out of this pickel."
Then reporters threw sandwiches at him.
