Important to point out how destructive the entire Trump program is to the economy. Raising cost of virtually every stage of production via tariffs and these ICE raids. Impounding federal grants. Gutting university system, public health and research centers, while cutting taxes for the rich.

I think what's bothering me about all these statements I'm seeing from politicians that are variations of "Israeli hostages and Palestinians are returning to their homes, yay" is that Israelis are returning to their homes and Palestinians are returning to uninhabitable post apocalyptic rubble.

Next week City Council will hear a pair of legislation that formally denounces the Trump Administration's attempt to terrorize our city with militarized units, while codifying Sanctuary City status protections. Portlanders have been waiting for a formal expression of City's Council will on this.

Bosses have increasingly been trapping workers with debts incurred in training and other exploitative fees.
