I mean even if they did have a long talking stage, Klay and Megan’s relationship is what it looks like when 1. A man actually likes you. 2. How men will be properly cared for if they do their part and 3. Klay was stable BEFORE Meg. He isn’t using her to “become a better man,” he already was one.
