Just think: any carbon emissions MLS has saved over the years by doing those recycled Earth Day practice tops each season have probably been cancelled out by 1-2 AI match recaps.

But hey, at least this $20B league isn’t wasting precious revenue on paying freelancers

MLS is using generative AI to write match recaps. Writers used to get paid freelance rates to do that. Hssssss.

There is a form to make known how you feel about MLS using AI for recaps. It takes two seconds and has a section where you can let them know in your own words why you’re opposed to the league using any form of AI.
