Damn dude idk why but I'm 3 semesters in and I feel like I've never been this BAD at drawing. It really feels like I became worse, not better. I know it's just my upstairs jelly acting up but it's tough believing in myself sometimes.

Wow, okay, just watched someone flatten “you have to tolerate discomfort when learning how to create” to “gatekeeping”.
It’s not gatekeeping. It’s realistic. If you want to produce an evocative image quick without going through the process of practicing, you license stock art.

Tonight Askasleikir (Bowl Licker), the 6th of Iceland's 13 Yule Lads, comes down from the mountains. He likes to hide under beds and steal used bowls to lick them clean.

i guarantee your book will look infinitely more appealing if you find some public domain artwork you like (there are tons of places to find high res public domain art and photos) and slap a cool (free?) font over it

That new "8 or 10 episodes per season" format annoys me to no end. So much lost potential. When I see a new series with only 1 or 2 seasons that have only 8-10 episodes, I just don't watch it unless someone DRAGS me there kicking and screaming and feeds me snacks. It always feels rushed.

It took 2,5 months but it finally happened. A Dr. suggested that my tonic pupil and central nervous system symptoms are just psychosomatic. Went to my favourite pharmacist to gossip and she rolled her eyes at that bs.
Don't get me wrong, of course psychosomatic symptoms are to be taken seriously.
