Year end travel stats. No more flying until February, 2026.
Not seen here: I visited four countries for the first time - Türkiye, Iceland, Nicaragua, and Thailand. I’m unlikely to be able to repeat that in 2026. However, I will visit the Philippines in Q1 2026, adding one more country to my list.

For my last EU round trip this year I treated myself to a Delta One upgrade round trip. I look forward to many hours of bad TV, a decent meal, and a few hours of sleep.

My early AM flight was cancelled around the time I awoke (03:00). After spending an hour on the phone with Delta I was rebooked, but I now have an overnight layover in AMS.

I’m alone in Krakow - the only Hanukkah I have ever missed with my wife and kids - so they sent me with a tiny magnetic menorah. I don’t think my hotel would be happy if I lit it… so this will have to do.

I stumbled upon the Old Synagogue, the oldest remaining synagogue in Poland. Built between 1407 and 1570, the building was ransacked during WWII. 30 Polish hostages were executed here in 1943.

I’m wandering around Kazimierz, the old Jewish quarter of Krakow.
I stumbled upon the Old Synagogue, the oldest remaining synagogue in Poland. Built between 1407 and 1570, the building was ransacked during WWII. 30 Polish hostages were executed here in 1943.

I wanted to share probably the most important sermon I’ve given and it’s while I’m being arrested. It’s torture pure and simple what happens at #Broadview. I’m ok, though I was thrown to the ground and choked with my pectoral cross. A review of the video shows I was peaceful - did I deserve this?
