Thanksgiving was different this year. Dad is getting *really* slow, Mom kicked up hosting to us which was a massive passing of the baton. Brought in-laws over and we had our first blended holiday and it turned out great. Food was fantastic, cousins hung out like I did as a kid, everyone

Similarly, if you’re an elected official not voting one way or another or not standing up for your constituents because you are scared or threatened, you should step aside and let someone else with courage step up.
