Of course the planet will be fine, as a home for the future generations of humans is an other question.
It seems that 2 n2 of PV and a battery could be a viable alternative
deeply wild clip of a fossil fuel economist on norway's state broadcaster claiming

- 3 degrees of warming is a "problem we can live with"
- Extreme weather is not a threat to human welfare
- We need to dig up Norwegian oil and gas to help 'poor Africans in huts' get rid of polluting cooking fuels
Please inform trump that his presumed allies work for the other side.
Hungary is looking for ways to bypass new U.S. sanctions on Russian oil firms, PM Viktor Orban said. The move comes after Trump, a close ally of Orban, sanctioned Lukoil and Rosneft in a bid to push Moscow toward a Ukraine ceasefire.

This graph says it all: instead of starting to go down, the *annual increase* of atmospheric CO2 is setting new records. We're making climate change worse at a record rate.
Turning this around should be our top priority, and it's not.

6/ Former CDC director Tom Frieden warned: “Even if [facts] are denied and suppressed and misused and misquoted and cherry-picked, facts are still facts. The plain truth is that most people want to be healthy and safe, and what’s being done now is putting that very much at risk.”

It is interesting to declare to be on track while the track says we have to go to zero ;-)

Should also do. Tariffs are set by centralised power plants gamers not for the storage price of the electricity I have produced my self and will consume later. Tariffs of today are built for power deficit supply based on fossil reservoir, they have a problem when an uncontrolled excess occurs.
One could question the market: cheap tariffs would mean excess of non flexible production to be used by batteries no ?
