The most precious commodity you have is your attention. You don’t have to waste it on poor-faith debates or arguments with strangers if you don’t think they’ll be productive. You can prioritize the things that matter to you and make your life richer.

If you have been training for years the maximum rate of *lean* muscle accrual you will likely manage is about 0.5 lbs of muscle mass added per month, anything above is fat or water weight. This still nets 5-6 lbs of muscle per year, and over 10 years that nets a dramatic 50-60 lbs! But it's... slow.
