Recently, musician and prayer leader Lawrence Oyor has become extremely popular for his youth-focused events, but some of the activities involving children raise serious concerns, how is he luring orphans with food and making them pray 13 hours every day? This video is not about attacking individuals — it is about protecting children, raising awareness, and asking the difficult questions: Should children be made to pray for extremely long hours? Is it healthy for young minds to be told to “speak in tongues” or “connect with God” for extended periods? Why are children allegedly tied down or pressured into intense spiritual activities? Why are orphaned and vulnerable children placed into these environments? Where is the regulation? Where is child protection? As someone looking from the outside as an atheist and former Christian, this is troubling. When does “spiritual training” cross the line into psychological and emotional abuse?
