I heard some mutterings on the other site that Chitose in the Ramune is actually some subversive work of genius, so I'm giving it a go.
It would honestly have to be, because this is one of the most torturous 'to cool for school' teen dramas I've seen since Classroom of the Elite or Kokoro Connect

I'm tempted to call Ea Nasir jokes the historical equivalent to whatever Nina Tucker chimera references are in anime fandom, but that would falsely imply I no longer find the former funny or wish to see less of them.

I've been hesitant to praise Sanda, given how I felt Beastars, as insightful as it could be, quickly turned into a bunch of disparate, often contradictory musings over sticking to a thematically consistent vision.
But so far Sanda has been exactly what I wanted

I'm still watching Touring After the Apcalypse, but you could literally watch any other show in the same genre and have a better time.

I spent a good chunk of last night in FFXIV leveling a bunch of crafting jobs to level 15.
I'm fully committed to this brand new glamour gold rush

I had the latest Skillup Week In Videogames playing in the background, when they randomly mentioned that 1000xresist was coming to the PS5 on Tuesday.
What the actual hell? Was this a shadowdrop? I swear I googled to see if there was any possibility of a port 4-6 weeks back and found nothing.

unfortunately, living in japan, I don't have a subscription to cancel anymore--but if you still do, you should totally get on that. hit them in the only place they'll actually maybe potentially listen

A ton of research and effort went into this one. This is the article to read to get to the bottom of Crunchyroll's subtitle changes!

Crunchyroll is destroying its subtitles for no good reason | Daiz.moe
With the Fall 2025 anime season, Crunchyroll demonstrates zero respect for anime as a medium as the presentation quality of its subtitles reach an all-time low.

Although I like the new Ranma anime, I do think the original 80's show surpasses it in many ways. Not least my fave gag.
In the MAPPA version Akane actually bothers to clean up the mess from Kodachi's entrance, but in the original she just silently stews in the shoujo villain-infused destruction

I've started watching the MAPPA adaptation of Ranma 1/2.
Despite my concerns it's a pretty darn solid show, often on par with the pacing and comedic timing of the original series

That's why I stick to Werther's Original at this time of year, as they only contain traces of Skype.
They're not particularly great in all honestly, but I appreciate the comforting nostalgia for bygone times (of 2009).

Please check your kids’ Halloween candy carefully this year.
I bit into a chocolate bar and found Microsoft Teams.

The Reze movie was about what I expected, which is to say pretty damn good. No idea what the aggressively online tv show haters might think, but I didn't think it missed a beat from the shift in director.
Perfectly paced, even if the more insular story mostly robs us of Power & Kobeni
