It is WILD how many big city mayors think the point of their city is for suburban drivers to crash through them as fast and callously as possible. What a breath of fresh air to imagine a mayor who actually likes their city and the people who live there.

Donald Trump's ideal Democrat is @mayorbowser.dc.gov - in this case using her to justify slashing local emergency response grants.

“In a short period of time, President Trump has transformed DC from a crime-ridden mess into a beautiful, clean, safe city,” White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson said in an email.

Jackson emphasized the role federal law enforcement officers have played, in collaboration with local police, to remove “countless dangerous criminals and illegal drugs from the streets,” arrest gang members, and find missing children.

“The Trump Administration looks forward to continued coordination with local leaders and encourages other Democrats to follow Mayor Bowser’s lead,” Jackson said in her email.

MPD basically escaped civilian control once the Mayor and Chief and Trump signed off on murder and coverup in the Karon Hylton case. Essentially, Gregg Pemberton is the Stephen Miller of DC - abandoning the cops who were on the right side of Jan 6 and promoting lawlessness among cops.
