My age yourself with gaming is that when I was a kid, video games based on Gilligan's Island and the The Three Stooges were considered marketable for kids.

I like the idea of Bill Kristol becoming Bill Apter of Pro Wrestling Illustrated and just making kayfabe interviews with politicians.
“I’m in charge. I got the business guys groveling for favors. I got loyal people who do what I say. I’m the biggest boss in the whole goddamn world. I’m the most powerful president in our whole goddamn history.

And here’s the thing: I’m not giving it up. No way.”

My favorite opening credits come from the 1931 Frankenstein because they're so intent on creating a mystery around the monster that they credit him with "?" as if to say "Ooooh, who could it be? We don't knooowwwww... Is it even an actor?? Oooooh"

lol
Meanwhile, on twitter, did you know that Mary Shelley never could have written Frankenstein (which is about magnets as you know) because her boyfriend was really into magnets?

In fact, when you think about it, that's why women in general don't write great literature (chicks aren't into magnets).

James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, says:

“You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."

Usually “86 year old will retire” would not count as a prediction.
NEW: Keep an eye on Steny Hoyer, sources tell @axios.com

The 86-year-old former House majority leader “will” retire, one senior House Democrat predicted.

Another lawmaker said he “has been looking for a replacement” to endorse for his seat.

Politics is a strange thing where one of the most important and impactful (for worse or worse) politicians of the first decade of this century dies and it's like the 17th most important Political news story of the day.

I love all sitcoms that explain the premise in the intro.
I want to draw everyone's attention to this amazing sitcom supercut by @futurehasbeen.bsky.social. It's a 2-hour celebration of sitcom openings that you don't remember and may not know exist. It's warm nostalgia that gets uncanny as you watch. Hard recommend.

Vince McMahon is happy.
Mighty Mouse and his Terrytoon friends are now on MeTV Toons! Every Sunday from 3p - 5p.

The Terrytoons shorts don't look superb (they're sourced from the 50s-60s CBS Saturday morning show iirc) but the Ralph Bakshi 80s series segments look great:

It's weird to see people out of the New York area talk about Sliwa. He is like a total New York creation.
It’s fun watching a new generation discover all the weirdos I grew up with in my youth via their constant talk show appearances. In this instance, Curtis Sliwa.

Update on kids saying “6 7”. My nephew has said he is a part of an anti-6 7 faction in his class. My niece said that saying “4 7” isn’t annoying but 6 7 is annoying.
