Hey y'all, call me Ace or EconEnby. I'm a neurodevelopmentally disabled anarchafeminist researching eugenics, scientific racism, and the intersection of anarchism and disability activism. I'm AuDHD and have OCD and fatigue of some kind. I might also post about books and random special interests.
despite seeming like having a weird gay thing going on, big boss and ocelot are actually just being gay
On first thought, I think I'll pass 😅
Well that's certainly a character intro.

Not for nothing but also love it when the “you should just not go out in public” people then yell at you for spending your time advocating online. Okay. Where should I go then? Not out. Not online. Dead? Would dead be okay?
at least it's got a nice bush?
actually i think this is the answer

People focus on LLMs generating false statements about general factual information or being inaccurate when they collate/summarize data but probably the funniest tendency is just lying to the user about their actual affordances or capabilities

I find it interesting that everybody assumes every woman over the age of about 30 they see a picture of on a protest is a liberal winemom or whatever.

I did not think when I wrote this in 2020 it would remain so relevant. I get no kickback from resharing my work. I share it because it explains shit
I kind of hate how I have had to gain a tough skin while researching the far-right. I'm sure you've seen far worse than me, but I have definitely seen my share of nasty shit. It's a bit like poison to read; small doses I can handle, but I have to take breaks.

Mutual Aid Request
Ok, Day 2 of a big request to try to get through to mid-November without SNAP. Asking for $850 for both groceries and non-food necessities. Hardly anything came in yesterday so I didn't eat at all. Help? 💕💸 V: Annaleigh-Watts CA: $annaleighmaria PP: AnaleeWatts

It does help me retain the information better, but I think most people would consider me a monster for it.
My note-taking is wildly inefficient (when it's digital, which is my usual reading method). I underline really important stuff, but I'm mostly transcribing everything relevant to my current project into a google doc. This sometimes means I have over a hundred pages of "notes" on a book.
This is obviously easier said than done. Resources are limited due to systemic neglect and violence. But we do need to recognize that different disabled people are going to have different needs; there is no Universal Disabled Subject. We can have true solidarity only when this is embraced.
I really feel like being honest about conflicting accessibility needs and trying to build multiple spaces solves a lot of these issues. Having a big tent is sometimes important, but so can having a bunch of smaller tents together be effective.

My instincts boil down to:

Just do things! You already know how to get started!

Remember mvmt history but don't repeat it. Lift tactics where applicable. Try to make new mistakes!

Thank god most people have seriously different priorities and energies from me! Because I don't have all the answers

I dunno, the size of the No Kings crowds yesterday made me feel slightly less hopeless? That morale boost isn't necessarily worth all the effort, but why take away that one positive morale boost by pointing out the obvious?
