Not only are the revenue increases regressive, but they’re unpopular and nickel-and-dimey things like:
– increasing fees for driver’s licenses and IDs and indexing them to inflation
– increasing Discover Pass prices by 50%
– adding sales tax to more categories
– credit card fees on ferry tickets

Let me get this straight: #waleg is going to pass a budget that raises sales and gas and other regressive taxes, but also while forcing cuts to schools and making lots of other unpopular cuts like slashing postpartum medicaid in half, but will *not* pass a wealth tax. Thus ensuring nobody’s happy.
