Automatic follow-back helps trolls and bots build a false legitimacy, so don't expect it from me.
Pinned
People who know me from elsewhere who are part of a new migration wave, please don't be offended if I don't follow back. My feed is about as active as I can manage following right now.
Always fun to see a new ad for a prescription I take, and they've added a side effect that they feel the need to spell out at normal speed and loudness of speech.

Humans, they can be fantastic when they can create things.
Just saw that Xing Zhilei, the Chinese DIY influencer, posted an update on his self-built cat town which went viral last year.

Reactionaries believe change only makes things worse, and we should undo all recent changes.
Progressives believe change can make things better, and we should enact more changes.
Centrists don't want to undo changes or make new changes, which tends to at least side with the goals of reactionaries..

To quote Corporal Klinger on MASH: "If you have 'em as a kid, you don't have 'em as an adult. If you have 'em as an adult, you DON'T HAVE KIDS!"
MUMPS CAN MAKE YOU INFERTILE.
ESPECIALLY MEN.

Vaccines matter.
Measles is a bellwether. Because it’s the most contagious vaccine-preventable disease, when vaccination rates drop, it’s the first to start spreading.

Now we’ve got mumps rolling up.

Expect more.

This is just the beginning of RFK Jr.’s successful infectious disease reintroduction plan.

⚠️ Rep. Thomas Massie:

“I am not suicidal. I eat healthy food. The brakes on my car and truck are in good shape. I practice good trigger discipline and never point a gun at anyone, including myself. There are no deep pools of water on my farm and I'm a pretty good swimmer.”

The Trump Regime is like the naval vessel in the joke about insisting that a lighthouse cede right of way. They won't get what they want, but they'll run us aground in the process.

The Wizard of Oz, except when she puts on the silver/ruby slippers it turns out they're the Red Shoes, their curse held in abeyance by the witch's own magic. Cue the dance numbers!

I like Target's store brand fruit snacks, but the packaging is insanely irregular. Sometimes a packet will have two dozen fruit snacks in it, sometimes FOUR. Can you imaging trying to give these to kids? Utter nightmare.

I think the What If? cartoon burned me out on What If? stories having a multiversal arc. Just let them be standalone counterfictionals, okay? I don't need the Watcher to have a plotline, or for there to be a Big Bad who's invading the stories.

The difference between me and James vanderBeek is that my cancer was caught in time (mostly by sheer luck) and his wasn't.

Okay, not the ONLY difference.

Insert the Homer Simpson "...so FAR" meme.
I’ve watched a lot of congressional hearings over the last 40 years. This performance by Bondi is the single most unprofessional, non-responsive, reprehensible and obnoxious I have ever seen from any witness who has testified before any committee of either chamber.

"I'm not going to comment on an ongoing investigation" is the corrupt cop version of pleading the fifth. They can't actually plead the fifth because they aren't personally incriminated legally, they'll just get fired if they say anything, be it truth or not.

Age verification? Do not cite the deep magics to me, witch.
Age verification? Since before your sun burned hot in space, and before your race was born, I have awaited a question.
Age verification? My first anime was "Space Cruiser Yamato"

Age verification? When I got into comics, I bought them from a drugstore newsstand and convenience store spinner racks. I was collecting for years before I entered my first direct market comic shop.
Age verification? My first roller skates had steel wheels, and you had to use a key to adjust them.
Age verification? The color of television tuned to a dead channel was glitchy gray, not blue.

Sumo wrestlers on ice, with broom-wielding Canadians behind them roughening the surface.
The only sports I care about are curling and sumo. Maybe I just enjoy heavy things being shoved out of circles.
