I did find a Reddit thread from last year where a guy said he'd found a way to get something like a yearly list out of iTunes, and that he'd post instructions soon...but if he did, it wasn't in that post's replies, nor did it show up in searching. What little he did say, I couldn't find how to do.

(iTunes Replay is just for the streaming stuff, it doesn't look at your filthy OWNED music, just the stuff Apple rents to you.)

Sounds like the kind of rule that's on the books but no one pays attention to or even realizes exists until someone goes digging. (My current school admin was surprised when I pointed out that the handbook said "if no tenure by year 8, you should leave," they'd never known that. We edited it.)
